today was a great day. we spent the entire day wandering through the streets of st. louis, laughing at eachother, experiencing fun times, and TRYING TO FIND SHOPS!

st. louis is mainly furniture stores. which probably is wise, considering the amounts of LOFTS there are advertised everywhere. i'll have to take pictures for you all just so you can understand the insanity of the loft/apartment offerings, and also the incredibly awesome home furnishing stores they have. seriously, so cool.

side note -- i was having a real hard time connecting to the internet today. after freaking out, struggling for an hour trying to connect to the internet, i finally caved and called the help line. turns out they blocked my address because i was downloading something. and that something was hannah montana. i feel like the biggest loser in the world. end side story.

the actual convention doesn't start until tomorrow. i'm pretty jazzed. today was a lot of fun, but i'm getting anxious to start listening to some bands!

the updates thus far, i realize, have probably been super boring for you all.

OH! PS!
we were walking under the arch today. (i had no idea you could go INSIDE the arch! we did, it was amazing. check the pictures of facebook!) as we were walking under, someone got the bright idea to lay down and spell out "HI" to the people INSIDE the arch. we all spelled it out, stood there laughing hysterically for about 4 minutes, then realized there was no way we would ever know if anyone saw us. sad times. but how cool would that be if you were in the arch looking down and saw 9 people spelling out HI to you?
